Transfer and Pressing information

Important Note: Springhill's transfers are designed for use with commercial-grade clamshell heat presses.
They're not usable with home or hand irons!

Standard transfer sizes:

Adult: 11x13, Jumbo: 13x16, Super-Size: 15x19, Youth: 8x10

Hot Split Transfer Pressing Instructions

Use these settings for best results when pressing your hot-split transfers:

Temperature: 375ºF
Medium Pressure (45 lbs.)
Time: 7-10 seconds, peel hot

(To improve opacity on dark shirts, try less time.)

Cold Peel Glitter Transfer Pressing Instructions

Temperature: 375ºF
Medium Pressure (45 lbs.)
Time: 7-10 seconds. Cool completely! Peel COLD!

For Color Copy Laser transfers, press 12 seconds and pressure may be increased.

	Checking your pressure:
	Start off with your pressure set so that a piece of paper inserted in the end of your press slips out when the press is closed. Gradually increase the pressure just until the paper is snug and cannot be pulled out. Do not tighten further.

Instructions for "Wrap-Around" Style Transfers
This 4-step process does not leave a line or gap in the design, and is easy to do!
	1. Place t-shirt so the left edge of the shirt is at the left edge of the platen. Leave about 1" of the platen visible.
	2. Place the transfer on the shirt so its center is aligned with the tag.
	3. Press first part of design normally, peel while hot. DO NOT peel all the way. Leave 3-4" of transfer attached to the shirt. Excess ink will wipe from platen easily.
	4. Slide shirt to the left with transfer still attached. The right edge of shirt should be at the right edge of the platen. Leave 1" of platen visible. Press remainder and peel hot.
